The PlayStation 4 version of Ultra Street Fighter 4, the definitive edition of Capcom’s 2008 fighting game, will be released May 26 for $24.99, Sony announced today.
Ultra Street Fighter 4 on PS4 will be available on that date in the Americas and Europe.
IDARB developer Other Ocean Interactive, which is handling the PS4 port, is currently “putting the final touches” on the game, said Gio Corsi, director of third-party production for Sony Computer Entertainment America. Sony announced the PS4 version during PlayStation Experience in December.
The PS4 version of Ultra Street Fighter 4 will include “all the characters, all the levels, and all of the DLC” that Capcom has released to date for Street Fighter 4, according to Corsi. He added that Other Ocean has eliminated the “minor input lag” that was present in the PlayStation 3 version of Ultra Street Fighter 4.
Corsi specified that Sony is releasing Ultra Street Fighter 4 digitally on PS4. A representative for Sony confirmed to Polygon that the game won’t be available on disc.
Ultra Street Fighter 4 was first released in April 2014 in Japanese arcades. It launched in June of that year on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and in August on Windows PC.
